Favorite foods of the fallow deer

Fallow deer enjoy eating grass, leaves, and acorns, and fallen fruit is also a favorite. They often graze in groups while searching for food. The herd stays together throughout the year, especially in autumn. Watch them during the safari as they munch on something tasty!

Fast and curious

Fallow deer can run up to 50 km/h when frightened or chased. Despite their speed, they are curious and sometimes come quite close. If you stay calm and quiet, you may have an amazing experience. Their agility also allows them to disappear quickly.
